Lightstyle began as a better alternative to big-box lighting options. A place where homeowners with distinct taste and designers could experience our curated offerings and select in confidence. Providing fine lighting with expert guidance, we set the bar high by providing custom solutions and elevated services delivery for the past 25 years.

Tricia Holliday
President
Tricia Holliday is President of Lightstyle Florida, overseeing the company’s Orlando and Tampa Bay showrooms. She works closely with Lightstyle’s design consultants and sales team to shape the customer experience and develop service standards that guide homeowners, designers, and builders through the lighting selection process. As a former Lightstyle customer herself, Tricia offers a unique perspective on the personalized service and thoughtful design guidance that define the Lightstyle experience.

Installer Apprentice / Electrician’s Helper
Description
Lightstyle is seeking a motivated Installer Apprentice / Electrician’s Helper to join our team and grow into a full-time lighting installer role. This is an opportunity to build hands-on experience in the lighting and electrical field while working alongside an experienced installer on residential and light commercial projects throughout Central Florida.
If you enjoy working with your hands, take pride in detail-oriented work, and want to learn a skilled trade in a design-focused environment, we would love to meet you.
What You’ll Do
- Assist with the installation of decorative lighting fixtures, ceiling fans, and related components
- Prepare tools, materials, ladders, and equipment for installation projects
- Help pull wire, assemble fixtures, and support on-site electrical work under supervision
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites
- Load and unload materials and assist with transportation between job locations
- Follow safety standards and company procedures at all times
- Learn installation techniques, troubleshooting basics, and best practices from experienced team members
- Represent Lightstyle professionally in customers’ homes and project environments
What We’re Looking For
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Comfortable working in active construction and residential environments
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand, bend, climb ladders, and work in tight spaces when needed
- Familiarity with basic hand and power tools is preferred
- Previous construction, lighting, or electrical experience is helpful but not required
- Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
What You’ll Gain
This is more than an entry-level helper position. The right candidate will receive mentorship and hands-on training with the goal of developing into a skilled Lightstyle installer over time. After six months of employment, you will also become an employee-owner — a reflection of the pride, accountability, and long-term investment we believe in as a company.
You’ll gain experience working with:
- Decorative and architectural lighting systems
- Residential and light commercial installations
- Job site safety and professional standards
- Tools, materials, and installation techniques used in the field
- Customer-facing service in a high-end design environment
